A spliter, hub or introduce yourself.
Head to staples or someother store like it and ask for backing. The sales nation will set you up with everything you inevitability. They will even explain to you how to set up the new hardware. Some will even show you on a store model.
Control Panel | Network Setup Wizard. You can select a cable to cable--Peer to Peer Ad-Hoc nouns. You can use USB, CAT5, or serial cables (9-pin or 25 pin, I believe). You may obligation a crossover cable to do it driectly from one pc to another, so they communicate properly. A cheap 4 port hub would work great. Just run two CAT5 cable to the hub, share resources on each workstation and transfer facts that way.
