I hold a HP deskjett 5400 series and can't get the status pane for level of ink to come up.
How do I catch the ink rank to show so I know how much is vanished?
When the page comes out of the printer blank, after you are out of ink.
Those ink levels are disgracefully unreliable.
On the printer icon on odd job bar right click,monitoring preferences,check schedule and make sure ink stratum is checked,if your printer is'nt the same it will be contained by your prefernces somewhere.Right click and see what choice you have.
