How do I find the ip address of an HP OfficeJet V40?

HP have a download called HP WebJetAdmin that when installed, can find locate any HP printer or External Jet Direct inwardly an IP range. It can also update firmware and reset configurations on elder jet directs. Once the V40 is on the web it will pull and IP address and the WebJetAdmin will set it. From at hand you can reset the IP or just use the one it have pulled.
Is your local network connected using a router? If you're using the router as a DHCP server (i.e., the router is hand out IP addresses), one possible solution to your problem is to log in to the router and look at its DHCP client table.
