how do i capture info to install a brotherdcp1000printer?

Look for a booklet at the brothers site. If you have an interface cable for it that plugs into your computer and you enjoy windows operating system you should plug it surrounded by and turn it on and THEN start the computer. The computer may install and set it up for you automatically. If it doesn't it may tell you what it wants to complete the setup. Chances are it allready has a driver it can use for this printer. Quite a few are included beside Windows. If you have software that come with the printer the computer will probably ask for it when it wants it.

Just find the correct drivers... install them, reboot and formulate sure the printer is plugged in and on by the time the system restarts.
