Mostly because your examine makes no sense.
I hold no idea what that medium. Maybe the ink is afraid of the room and "runs" away. Maybe when you are concentrating on typing someone sneeks up and steals the ink. Both answers are quite dutiful. you can choose one or both and you will still be right.
