How come my printer won't stop flashing "ink" when I a moment ago put contained by a foreign tape?

Sometimes after you install the ink tape, you have to travel into the printer's software and do some diagnostics before the feathery stops flashing.



You may be required to do an allignment test to take home sure that the cartridge is seated correctly, but most of the time if you of late get surrounded by there afterwards click off anything you are asked to do, it will be fine.

You may need to run the Cleaning procedure. Sometime after replacing the tape some of of old ink still stuck within the nozzles. By running the cleaning cycle you can clear out the ink and allow the new ink to acquire to the printhead.
With most printers you have to use the printer software to "tell" the printer that you own inserted a new tape. I'd give you more specific info, but short knowing the make of your printer it'd be reasonably difficult. You can try using the "help" portion of the printer's software program to see if you can find the correct procedure. Good Luck.
